Rooted In Truth Conference

Every year, ODCS hosts a Bible Conference titled “Rooted In Truth.” This is an opportunity for our students to explore a biblical topic more in-depth. Students hear from renowned speakers and pastors who come in and connect Scripture with the lives of our students. Some topics explored in conferences past are:

• Unashamed: Embracing the Wonder of the Gospel
• Full Human: Living as God Intended when Culture Intersects Faith
• Holy & Beloved: Putting on the New Self in Christ

We host distinct conferences for our High Schoolers and Middle Schoolers. Every Rooted In Truth finishes with a time of worship through Singing, Praying, and Reflecting on the conference.

Boyce Trip

The D3 Youth Conference through Boyce College is an overnight trip provided to our high school students that seeks to provide an opportunity to hear from renowned evangelical Christians. The trip serves to strengthen our students and empower them to assist with spiritual formation efforts at ODCS. This opportunity is designed to bring the learning back from Boyce College to the halls of ODCS by allowing our students to visit one of the premier Bible colleges in the country and bring back a clearer understanding of biblical leadership.

Our prayer each year for this trip is that the time spent at the conference will inspire and provoke our students to become biblically based leaders at our school. This type of leadership strives to better understand oneself and to help others grow from the Lord’s work in their life.
