Starting with the 2023-24 Academic Year, all students in the State of Ohio qualify for the Ohio EdChoice Scholarship. The full amount of the scholarship is $6,165 for K-8th students and $8,407 per high school student. Taxpayers now have a cost-free way to make a significant contribution to the students at Open Door Christian Schools. Thanks to Ohio's new state tax credit, individuals who contribute to a Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) can receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit for up to $750. Pastor/Missionary Discount is 30% of tuition

Qualifications: This discount is for a parent who is employed as a full-time pastor of a church or a full-time missionary under the auspices of a mission organization that adheres to the ODCS Statement of Faith and must be verified by their employer in writing.

Christian Worker Discount is 10% of tuition

Qualifications: This discount is for a parent who is employed full-time in a non-profit Christian ministry. The employment must be under the auspices of a Christian organization (i.e. church, Christian aid organization) that adheres to the ODCS Statement of Faith and must be verified by their employer in writing.

Rooted in Truth provides an excellent opportunity for our 7-12th grade students to wrestle with some of the tough questions of our day. The goal for the day is to equip our students by demonstrating the truth of a biblical view and how students can build their lives on the sure foundation of Christ for all of their lives.
