2009-2010 Boys Basketball

The boys finished the 2009/10 basketball season with a 13-8 record.  There was a lot of improvement made throughout the season.  They played a much tougher schedule this year and battled their way through it, while attempting to honor Christ with their thoughts, words, and actions.  The young men learned many valuable lessons on and off the court.  They are looking forward to an even more promising season next year.

2008-2009 Boys Basketball

The boys battled through a difficult season, finishing with a 4-17 record.  The 08-09 team had many opportunities to fold under the difficult pressure of losing.  The team, however, gave it their all in everthing that they did.  The future does look bright as most of the team will be returning.  They look forward to the 2009/10 season

2007-2008 Boys Basketball

The 2007-08 season could be described as a "New Beginning" on many different levels.  The Patriots, under new head coach, Jason Penley, began the season with a lot of youth and hope.  Relying on a mix of experience, four seniors, and youth, 3 freshman, the Patriots jumped out to a 12-2 mark.  Tough times found the Patriots, though, as they finished their season with a 13-8 record, losing a tough OHSAA tournament game to Dalton H.S.

2006-2007 Boys Basketball

The 2006-07 season marked the beginning of Northeast Liberty Conference play for boys basketball. However, the desire to to be the first League Champions had to be sidelined as the team faced a number of adversities through a difficult season. Team Captain and leading scorer from the previous season Danny McClintic (Senior) suffered an injury that forced him to miss a large part of the season. However, Danny still lead the team in scoring and rebounding average for the year. (Junior) Brendan McNabb led the team in scoring while (Junior) Jake Dodd led the team in rebounds. The team finished the season 6-15 and placed third in the NLC.

The 2005-06 Boys Varsity Basketball team had an overall successful year. Under new head coach Todd Oswald the Patriots were able to grasp the new system and learn new concepts. Team captains David Reszegi (Senior) and Zach Overs (Senior) led the team through the ups and downs of the season. The season was marked by two triple overtime radio games against Brookside and Columbia with the Patriots winning versus Brookside and losing on a late shot to Columbia. On Senior Night, the game was topped off with a dunk by Jordan Oleszczuk (Senior) in the 2nd quarter and a win against Cuyahoga Heights.
