Open Door Christian Schools is excited to once again offer SCRIP, a program where families can do their regular shopping using gift cards from leading retailers. With each gift card purchase, families will retain 90% of the discount amount that can then be applied to tuition, fees or other designated areas. The discount will be credited to each family’s account in both April and November. The remainder of the discount amount will generate funds for Patriot Pride, which supports our athletic programs.
Great Lakes Scrip Center, America’s largest scrip provider, offers a variety of ways to make shopping convenient. ShopWithScrip.com allows families to shop online from either home or work. Your individual family account will make it easy to track purchases and will enable you to see the discount amount you have accumulated. (Each family will retain 90% of the amount reflected in their account.) Presto-Pay gives you the ability to pay for you purchases online from your checking account. Sign up is easy and secure, and it only costs $.39 per order. You may also pay by writing a check directly to ODCS. Many retailers, with more being added all the time, now offer reloadable cards. Cards can be loaded in custom denominations, and the reload amount is available as quick as overnight!
ODCS will offer SCRIP to families beginning Thursday, April 23. All orders must be placed by Thursdays at 9:00 am and be paid either through Presto-Pay or a check payable to ODCS. The check must be dropped off at the school office by 9:00am on Thursdays for your order to be processed that week. The cards will then be available for pick-up on the following Monday between 2:45pm and 3:30pm in the library.
