Macie Ludwig is an award-winning twirler!

She began twirling at the age of eight and started competing at the age of nine.

2010 has been an outstanding year for Macie. In April she placed 1st in the 13-16 year old three-baton category. She placed second in Ohio in the two-baton and solo routines. She was named Grand Champion Three-Baton Overall in the state competition and in July she attended the national twirling championships in Savannah, Georgia. At nationals, she qualified to compete in Jacksonville, Florida for the international cup competition that will be held in August 2011. WOW!

Macie placed so high in the national championships that she has also been invited to compete at Twirl Mania in 2011. This competition is held at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The invitation only, Gold Championship competition, requires the twirler to perform a free style routine, two-three-four baton routine and a solo routine.

Macie is coached by Leigh-Ann Hay from Showstoppers Baton Studio in Wickliffe, Ohio.
