Wins Silver!

Macie Ludwig traveled to Jacksonville, FL the first week in August to compete in the International Cup Baton Competition. She had been preparing for a year after qualifying in July 2010 at the National Twirling Championships in Savannah, GA. She received a silver medal in the Jr. Elite three baton group, identifying her as the number two twirler in the world in her 3-16 age division! There were 14 countries represented at the competition in Jacksonville. Also this year she placed 1st overall at the Ohio state championship and Mid east regional championship in 3 baton and divisional winner in 2 baton.

She now has started to prepare for next summer to qualify in Dayton at the USTA (United States twirling association) nationals for the 2013 International Cup which will be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
