Young Authors' Illustrators Award Recipient

Alora Ralich, a fifth grade student at Open Door Christian Schools, was chosen as the 1st Place Recipient of the Young Authors' Illustrator's Award. The award was presented to her on May 15 at the Lorain County Young Authors Conference at Stocker Center before an audience of more than 950 students and guests. Alora's book is titled "Lilli Lylah at Laililiah", and students can look forward to reading it because part of Alora's award includes a professionally bound and published copy of her book which will be given to the school.
