Dear ODCS Families,

As the new Preschool/Elementary principal it is my privilege to welcome you to the new 2010-11 school year.

As I settle in to a brand new geographical location and get acquainted and begin to work with new partners in Christian education, I am awed at the providence of God and how He reveals His plans and will for us.

I wish I had the time and opportunity to share with all of you how clearly and specifically He has led in bringing me all the way from the other side of the country. I believe you would agree that it has been a remarkable journey these past months!

I have been enjoying the pastoral beauty of your state. There is a peace and tranquility here I just love. But most of all, I love you, the people! I find a warm, welcoming spirit everywhere I go, and already sense this is a place I can call home.

Now that I have addressed all of the necessary things one must do to get settled, I am eager to focus on what is so dear to my heart in my ministry in Christian education: the children! Even after 23 years administrating, my greatest joy and satisfaction is watching the children grow in their knowledge of and love for the Lord.

Please know that I consider your placement of your child at ODCS a sacred trust, and I pledge my help and support to you as we partner together in nurturing the gift God has given you in your child. May God give us wisdom and insight as we prayerfully seek His guidance to give your child a truly Christian education.
