Tryouts for the 2008-2009 Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleading teams will be May 17th this year. Anyone interested in trying out must attend a mandatory meeting Monday, April 21st. There will be one week of clinics/practices starting 4/28, the cheer will be taught Wednesday and Thursday of that week. Each candidate will be required to perform 2 floor cheers (one learned and one made up), a few jumps and a few tumbling basics. There will also be an interview form and a high emphasis on teacher evaluations. Start working on those splits, cartwheels, toe touches and round-offs!!
