Open Door Christian Schools had a wonderful event filled trip to Orlando Florida on March 27, 2012. The students performed at Epcot on Friday March 30, 2012 and had a great video projection workshop on Thursday March 29, 2012. While in Florida the music students traveled to Aminal Kingdom, Hollywood Studio, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and to Universal Studios. I believe all the students had a great time. I would like to thank all of the parents who chaperoned the Florida trip: Tami Clark, Dave and Missy Legan, Kari Wallace, Lisa Miller, Amy Brown, Ruth Saur. Thanks are also needed for Sandra Torres, Arleta Dirne, M.J. Lafleur for their support of our trip. If you have pictures that I would be able to use to create a scrapbook of this event, please send them in to Open Door Christian Schools care of Chris Clark!
Open Door Christian Schools would like to announce the 2013 high school band trip. The band has been asked to represent Ohio in the Washington D.C. Memorial Day Parade. This is a great honor and I hope it will be an exciting trip! Please help the band and the school by making a commitment to stay in band for the next school year! There is still time to make band a part of your schedule next year. Please let your child know how much band means to you!
Band Camp 2012 will be July 22-28, 2012 (This is the same calendar week as this year. But next year is a leap year so it
seems very early!)
